I am a local native-born and raised in Daytona Beach, and together with my together with my daughters, close family and friends, I still call this beautiful area home. Our family, from all sides of the equation, share a bond that has never weakened. I am blessed and fortunate to have such closeness and support from all. I am immensely proud of the dedication and support to our communities some members have contributed most of their life to. A few have dedicated over four decades serving our local law enforcement communities. Some have risked their lives to serve our country. Some have dedicated many years educating in our community. Some have worked urgently to save lives. It is fair to say I would label each one essential to me.
I stay motivated by helping others learn and grow. I maintain courage by reflecting on the challenges I have overcome. A driving factor for me is knowing someone else is counting on me. I know my daughters, family, close friends and clients count on me every day. Contributing to the positive change and outcome in a person’s life is what fuels my daily dosage of inspiration. But not all my inspirations have come from great happenings; devastating moments endured by myself and family also cultivated and contributed to the beautiful change.
As a family, we have certainly witnessed and lived through our share of injustices. Feeling those firsthand losses propelled me to immerse myself in this career of lifetime learning. Before attending law school, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Investigations after achieving a minor in Crime Scene Investigations. As one of few attorneys in our community having the advanced training and knowledge in the field of criminal investigations, forensics, and crime scene evidence, I always welcome and enjoy working with and providing assistance to other local attorneys on cases that involve forensic examinations and/or crime scene evidence. Working together diligently is a useful means for finding key answers important to the outcome of a case.
